Sping Valley’s 1950 Mac will be there!!!

The Miami Valley Antique Fire Apparatus Association (MVAFAA) and Dayton History are ready for a fun-filled, educational day at Carillon Historical Park!

This family friendly event offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history of firefighting, while wandering through the park's 35 exhibit buildings and structures.

Approximately 40 pieces of antique fire apparatus will be showcased in the park's historical exhibit area.

It has been a little over a month since the passing of Chief Nick Page, and I wanted to provide our community with an update on the Spring Valley Township Fire Department.

I know many of you have been worried about us and concerned about how the department is doing. Losing a member of our fire department family is incredibly difficult, but we are doing well and healing together—one day at a time.

We are getting back into the swing of things, responding to calls, training, and taking care of our community. That is exactly what Chief Page would want us to do.

The fire service is a close-knit family, and when tragedy strikes, we come together and take care of one another. We are deeply grateful for the tremendous support shown by our community, neighboring communities, and surrounding fire departments. Your kindness, prayers, messages, and assistance have meant more to us than we can express.

We will continue moving forward, providing the best service possible and protecting the community Chief Page cared so deeply about. We will carry his memory with us and honor his legacy through the work we do every day.

Thank you for continuing to stand beside the Spring Valley Township Fire Department.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, and fellow firefighters of Lieutenant Scott Johnson during this heartbreaking loss.

The Spring Valley Township Fire Department understands the profound pain of losing one of our own, having recently experienced that loss within our department. We stand beside the Dayton Fire Department family during this incredibly difficult time.

May Lieutenant Johnson’s legacy of service, courage, and dedication never be forgotten. Rest easy, Lieutenant. We will take it from here.

We were honored to stand alongside Sugarcreek Ladder 72 in presenting the flag at Spring Valley TWP Fire Department Station 10 today as our community remembers Battalion Chief Nick Page. We continue to keep Chief Page’s family and our brothers and sisters at SVTFD in our prayers.
