After 31 years of dedicated service, Lieutenant Tim Haggard has officially hung up his helmet.

On June 15, family, friends, current and retired members, and community supporters gathered to celebrate Tim's incredible career with Clearcreek Fire District. The ceremony included a flag presentation honoring his decades of commitment, sacrifice, and service to others.

For 31 years, Tim has answered the call, serving our community with professionalism, leadership, and a genuine passion for helping people. He has mentored countless firefighters, built lasting friendships, and left a positive impact on everyone fortunate enough to serve alongside him.

While retirement marks the end of an extraordinary career, the legacy Tim leaves behind will continue to be felt throughout our department for years to come.

Please join us in congratulating Tim on his retirement and thanking him for 31 years of service to Clearcreek Fire District and the citizens we proudly serve.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch beginning Saturday morning and continuing through Monday. They predict a large, long-duration storm bringing widespread snow, sleet, and freezing temperatures. Currently, snow accumulations are between six and ten inches.

Since safety has no quitting time, our Road Maintenance crews will be on the road clearing snow. We ask that, for your safety and ours, PLEASE MOVE ALL OBSTACLES OFF THE ROAD. Park cars in driveways and move portable basketball hoops, trash cans, and other items away from the street.

With snow accumulation and sub-zero temperatures forecast, it is better to avoid travel if possible.

Food & Water – Have at least three days’ worth of non-perishable food and one gallon of water per person per day.

Backup Heat Source – Consider a generator, wood stove, or space heater rated for indoor use.

Flashlights & Batteries – Power outages are common, so stock up on reliable light sources.

First-Aid Kit & Medications – Ensure you have the necessary prescriptions and emergency medical supplies.

Extra Blankets & Warm Clothing – Staying warm without power can be challenging - layer up!
