💛 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Behind every childhood cancer statistic is a child, a family and a story that deserves to be heard.
According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 15,000 children and adolescents ages 0–19 are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States. While advances in treatment have dramatically improved survival for many childhood cancers, a diagnosis can change every part of life for a child and their family.
That is why awareness matters. And it is why sharing real stories matters, too.
