NOTICE: Next Wednesday, June 17th through Friday, June 19th Watkins Avenue will be reduced to one lane for paving between South 48th Street and Gene George Boulevard. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. Drivers in the area should expect delays or consider alternate routes if possible. The work is expected to be complete Friday, June 19th barring any delays.

Road Closure: This Sunday 6/7/26 there will be a road closure downtown for the 10th anniversary street dinner. The closure will begin at 8am and end at 11pm. Emma will be closed from Spring ST to Main ST, as-well as Holcomb AV being closed from the alleyway to Emma AV. Traffic can use either E Meadow AV or E Johnson AV to detour around the closure. TRAFFIC ALERT: Temporary Road Closure on Highway 412 & S. Gutensohn Road

Beginning June 8, 2026, Springdale Water Utilities will begin essential sanitary sewer improvements at the intersection of S. Gutensohn Road and W. Sunset Avenue (Highway 412). Construction is expected to continue through June 22, 2026, weather permitting.

During this project, a portion of S. Gutensohn Road and one lane of Highway 412 will be temporarily affected. Traffic control measures and detour routes will be in place to help maintain safe travel through the area. Access to local businesses will remain open whenever possible.

Road closure: excavation for the waterline repair on Woodcliff between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1. We anticipate the repair will take approximately two days to complete; however, the duration could be extended depending on conditions encountered during excavation. The repair is particularly complex due to the waterline being approximately 16 feet deep and 36 inches in diameter. The attached Word document shows the repair location, marked with a red triangle on Woodcliff. See map for detour
