Over 20 years ago, Bill Drake walked into my office, and said I would like to help you raise some money to keep your programs going. He said I love music and would love to do some bluegrass and country western shows. That started our annual bluegrass and barbecue shows to date. Bill has helped us raise over $50,000. Tonight was our annual event and we fed over 180 people. Thank you Bill for your vision, thank you to Sugar Mountain band and Roving Gamblers band for sharing your talent with us, and thank you to the staff for coming in and helping me make this event a success!

Help us help our friends at the Springdale Police Department and Park And Rec. You can bring your candy to Lori’s office and she will get it to them. Springdale police are always here to help us with anything we need. Many don’t know but Park And Rec take care of our lawn needs and other maintenance for no charge. This is a way that we could thank them for all they do for our Senior Center. Please bring it before Friday.
