Our goal is always to exceed our seniors ecxpectations…we’ve been trying to think outside the box and do different things. Tonight we brought the theater to them. It was a fun night, where they boarded a cruise ship, played a little bingo, enjoyed a wonderful cruise buffet, and then we’re entertained by Lower Lights Theater Company. They literally did it all for our seniors. Serving them, entertaining them working and rehearsing for hours and hours so they could make sure that the perfect play was performed for our group, then they stayed after and cleaned up the entire place. We are forever grateful for their generosity. Also a huge thanks to the staff that came in and gave their time for our seniors. For me it’s always about the connection. It’s the connection we have with our community, the connection of Seniors spending time with their family, and the connection of friends that we have met at the senior center. So as I sit in the center all alone waiting on the rain to stop. I am reflecting on the night and I would call it a tremendous success.

Today we partnered with some Walmart home office employees for pickleball and lunch. Each employee was paired with a senior for a pickleball tournament. There were some amazing matches! Thank you to Chase and Debi for overseeing the fun.
