Happy Birthday to us! Hard to believe it has been a year since we opened! I think about the fun times we have had this year. So many memories made, new friendships formed, it is just about loving one another. Today we celebrated with cake for breakfast, a magician, Central States hosted the day with so many fun games and loads of prizes, the kitchen staff made fried chicken with potatoes and onions. We have had the best week and are already planning next year, but… first the staff needs a nap!

Day 3 celebrating… miss match bingo. These sweet seniors brought us pure joy today! Seeing them show up in some crazy outfits! We enjoyed donuts, four corner, bingo, mismatch, bingo, and chicken fried steak lunch. The roar of laughter is my always my favorite. Life is truly what you make it. The seniors had one worry today and that was getting pulled over going home. Alice was the big winner of the $100.00 prize today.

Day 2 celebrating… we mustache you a question, do you live BiNgO has much as us? If the answer is yes, then come join our group. We enjoyed morning treats, mustache bingo, we broke out our new prize machine, and our kitchen ladies went all out with brisket, hash brown casserole, & texas toast of course! Can’t wait until tomorrow to see everyone’s mismatch head to toe outfits. Congratulations to Lorraine for winning today’s hundred dollar prize $100 visa for helping fill the bingo closet.

This week every day is a celebration to lead up to our one year birthday in the new Senior Center on Friday. Today we WIGGED out for bingo. Over 130 seniors enjoyed morning treats, tons of bingo prizes, and nacho bar for lunch. Thank you to the staff for all their hard work to make this week possible. Thank you to Essence Home Care for your sponsorship. Congratulations to John for winning today’s big prize of a small patio set. He said he was looking at Lowe’s yesterday for one for his new apartment… Perfect timing.

Congratulations to the Pickleball champs today. Sarah and Roy, Becky and Steve both took first place in their division. If you like to play pickle ball, there’s always a game going.. if you want to learn Pickleball, we always have teachers available Tuesday and Friday mornings at nine.

Today was one of my favorite days of the month. Lunch with Lori, you and four random people. The conversation never stopped. We talked about marriages, jobs, how we ended up in Springdale, and how much we all love Springdale I’m so glad I get the opportunity to do these lunches and bring strangers together.
