πŸš’ Hydrant Testing Begins Monday, May 11 πŸš’

The Round Valley Fire & Medical Department will begin annual fire hydrant testing throughout Springerville and Eagar starting Monday, May 11th.

Testing will begin along the main streets of Springerville, continue throughout town, and then move through Eagar until all testing operations are complete.

This annual testing helps ensure hydrants are operating properly, maintaining adequate water flow, and keeping our fire protection system reliable for the community. Thank you Round Valley Fire & Medical Department !

πŸ’§ During testing, residents may notice:
β€’ Temporary changes in water pressure
β€’ Brief discoloration of water caused by sediment disturbance in the water lines

If discoloration occurs, simply run cold water for a few minutes until it clears.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as crews work to keep our communities safe!

🚧 Road Work Notice – South Mountain Ave 🚧

Heads up, Springerville! A fog seal project on South Mountain Avenue kicks off Monday, May 4 at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to wrap up by Friday, May 8.

Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, so plan for some delays and watch for posted signs and lane restrictions. The good newsβ€”one lane in each direction will stay open to keep traffic moving!

πŸ›£οΈ Striping will be completed within two weeks after the project wraps up.

"The secret of making progress is to get started."~ Mark Twain

One of the largest projects Chief Doyle has committed to is a complete overhaul of the Round Valley Police Department's Policy Manual. One of the most important pieces to a policy manual is defining the Department's philosophy. An organization's philosophy statement acts as a foundational guide, defining its core values, beliefs, and operational principles. Upon review and approval of the Chief's Community Advisory Board, we are pleased to share the Round Valley Police Department's Philosophy Statement!
