This Memorial Day, let’s cherish the freedom we enjoy because of their sacrifice. Fly the flag high, spend time with family, and reflect on the true meaning of liberty.

It’s been a busy few days traveling around the 48th district to meet new wonderful faces, and supporting growing initiatives in our community.

We attended the ribbon cutting at First Christian Church in Decatur, and also Business After Hours at Millikin University: Marking 125 years of bringing the Decatur community together!

We are officially 100 days away from Illinoisans favorite time of the year, The Illinois State Fair!

We visited the fairgrounds today, chatted with vendors, and yes.. ate a few too many corn dogs! 🌽🎡

Today marks one year since the heartbreaking tragedy in Chatham, Illinois.

We pause to remember the children and families affected, and to hold them close in our thoughts and prayers. A day that should have been filled with laughter and learning became one of unimaginable loss - and that weight is still felt.

Please join me in lifting up the families, the first responders, and the entire Chatham community today. May they continue to find strength, comfort, and healing in the love that surrounds them.

Thank you to everyone who came to support our campaign in Decatur.

We had a terrific time talking to each and every one of you, and hearing what the most important issues are to voters.

Happy Easter, friends and fellow Americans!

This Easter Sunday, as we celebrate renewal, resurrection, and the ultimate triumph of hope over darkness, let us remember the timeless values that make our country strong: faith, family, freedom, and forgiveness.

Just as Christ rose after sacrifice, may our community experience a fresh awakening, one where we put aside division, defend liberty for all and rebuild with courage and compassion. Easter reminds us that new beginnings are always possible when we stand together.

Friends, Supporters and Fellow Residents of the 48th District,

Tuesday, March 17, marked a powerful milestone in our fight to restore common sense leadership, fiscal responsibility and real accountability to our state.
As we advance to the November general election, I could not be more grateful and more determined.

To every voter who turned out and cast a ballot for change, to every volunteer who knocked on doors, made phone calls, shared our message, donated your time or resources or simply said a prayer for a brighter future for our communities: Thank you.

This campaign is not mine alone; it belongs to the hardworking families, seniors, Veterans and small business owners across Sangamon, Macon and Christian counties who deserve a senator who puts people ahead of politics. We have built incredible momentum and I am more committed than ever to deliver the results that you expect and deserve.
