Baca County Conservation District Conservation concerns of the District are as follows: Water Quality and Quantity, Noxious Weeds, Soil Erosion, and Wildlife. Our Mission -

The Baca County Conservation District was organized under the Colorado Soil Conservation Act of 1937 (CRS 35-70-101 and following) as amended. The District was established by a referendum consolidating the Southern Baca, Two Buttes, and Western Baca S

oil Conservation Districts. The Certificate of Organization was issued by the Colorado Secretary of State on June 5, 1982. The District is located in Baca County and covers 1,657,635 acres.
