The Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) has undergone extensive testing at all three of U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground’s natural environment test centers—Yuma Test Center outside Yuma, Arizona; Cold Regions Test Center at Fort Greely, Alaska; and, most recently, at Tropic Regions Test Center in the jungle of Panama.

U.S. Army Celebrates Juneteenth
"Lift Every Voice and Sing" performed by U.S. Army Field Band feat. U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division Chorus Gen. Gordon Granger read General Order No. 3, which transmitted the news of the Emancipation Proclamation, in Galveston, TX on 19 JUN 1865 declaring all slaves were now free. Though the Emancipation Proclamation had been written three year prior, it took time to deliver the news to the other end of the country. "Lift Every Voice and Sing" by James Weldon Johnson and J. Rosamond Johnson has been referred to as the "Black National Anthem '' since 1919 and is sung at Juneteenth celebrations.
