Will County ABATE extends our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Mehnoosh Hatam, a rider whose enthusiasm, support, and commitment helped strengthen the Chicago motorcycle community. Her love of motorcycling will not be forgotten.
Her passing is a reminder of how important it is to stay alert on the road. Motorcycles are everywhere — drivers must constantly be paying attention to the roadway and other drivers around them. Put the phones down! Driving impaired is never an accident — it is a choice. A choice that can and will end in tragedy.
ABATE stands for motorcycle rights, safety, education, and awareness. We will continue fighting for safer roads and greater respect for riders, carrying Mehnoosh’s spirit with us in that work.
