Over the last year Governor Lee has shown that our kids safety, their health, nor their education matters to him and the Tennessee Legislature. The negligence of him and others during this pandemic trying to bully schools who implement mask mandates is just sad knowing hospitals across the state are at capacity and numbers are steady climbing up and Governor Lee still silent.

The young Democrats is needed all over the country especially in Robertson County we must join hands with our youth, our teachers, and the parents of children in the state of Tennessee. We are rank #46 in education spending time we all unite to push for programs and finding all across the board to better educate our kids and public education.

They say the youth are our future leaders yes they are but we must show our future generations that we will stand by them, stand for them, and with them as well. I believe in our future generations let us all come together and start a Robertson County young democrats I believe we all can take part in the change we all want to see, and give our kids the best education, and tools needed to be the successful future leaders we are in them

Tennessee has so many billions in rainy day funds there is no need for our kids in "DCS" custody to be sleeping on floors in government offices.

Instead of threatening school district who choose mask mandates with a special legislative session and threatening vouchers if districts choose to implement mask mandates. Our legislature should be fully funding our education system to better the education of our future generations. Most of these elected leaders have had their vaccinations but they feeding lies to their voters to keep them from getting vaccinated. We must protect the health of our kids and our teachers in the state of Tennessee state leaders must stop playing politics with the lives of our citizens and our youth.

If leaders say they want to better or make sure our kids have a great education, and road to success then it must start in allowing our youth to take part of meetings, and creating laws. To every youth I say to you take a stand be part of the change you all want to see, If you see education is something that need to be fixed start attending school board meetings, if you feel our local or state officials laws not helping everyone or our younger generations start attending your local city, county, state meetings or sessions.

The lives, The voices of our youth matter true change will come when everyone can be a part of the change we all want to see. In order to secure a great future for our youth is to involve them and hear their voices and provide them with the key thing that will help them be the future leaders we all want them to be by investing and giving them the best education we can..

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee is delivering his third annual State of the State address to lawmakers. Lee will unveil his budget proposal which will include items like COVID relief and support, broadband expansion and teacher salary increases.
