At The Esther at Riverbend Assisted Living, we honor this significant chapter in our nation’s history and acknowledge the courage, resilience, and perseverance of those who helped pave the way toward a more just and equitable future.

✨Employee Spotlight: Mona ✨

We’re proud to recognize Mona as our Employee of the Month. She has been with us almost a year and calls this one of the most family-oriented and supportive workplaces she’s ever been part of.

Originally from Hawaii’s Big Island, Mona later visited Oregon and fell in love with the beauty of fall, deciding to make it home. She is a proud mom of four and enjoys life outside of work with her dog, Baby, whom she loves to relax with.

Mona shares how deeply supported she felt by her coworkers during a difficult time in her life, and she continues to carry forward her partner’s advice: live in the moment and cherish the people around you.

Join us in welcoming, Richard and Mary Ellen, our newest couple to join The Esther at Riverbend Assisted Living family!

Mary Ellen spent her career as a sales clerk, helping provide textbooks to libraries and supporting lifelong learning. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and later retired from a career in business machine repair.

We’re honored to have Richard and Mary Ellen as part of The Esther and we look forward to creating many wonderful memories together.

Our Floral Club is growing, and so is the joy it brings to our community!

Residents enjoy time together creating beautiful floral arrangements, sharing conversations, and expressing their creativity through flowers. Each gathering adds a little more color, connection, and beauty to our community.
