We all need a feel good story! This officer is simply awesome.

Absolutely love this story from our friends at the Eldridge Iowa Police Department! 💙❤

6-year-old Hayden and his family just moved into a new house where Hayden finally got his own room for the first time. Hayden had severe anxiety and refused to sleep in his room because of his constant fear of bad guys sneaking in.

Hayden begged his parents to call the police or a doctor to help. As a last ditch effort, Hayden’s parents took him into the police station to try and talk to an officer. Eldridge Police Officer Schwartz talked to Hayden and then took time out of his day to search Hayden’s room with him to ensure him there was nowhere for bad guys to sneak in. Hayden’s parents said that he has begun to sleep better in his room.

Officer Schwartz even stopped by the next morning to see how he was doing and snap a few first day of school pictures with him! Well done Officer Schwartz, well done!!

From all of us to all of you, we wish you a prosperous, joyful and safe new year!
