I just wanted to give a massive shoutout to the local Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association chapter 29-2. This group of people every year go above and beyond to help the Soldiers and families from 2-162 IN and in the Lane County Military community. Thank you all so very much for all the support you give.

Please note that while the flyer says it starts August 15th, the supplies are available starting today. To access the building you’ll need photo ID and contact with Josh Jordan, the Military & Family Readiness Specialist in Springfield.

The City of Eugene and Eugene Water & Electric Board are proud to sponsor this month's Communities of Color and Allies Network (CCAN) Frist Friday event. CCAN is sponsored each month by a different partner agency of the Equity and Community Consortium (ECC). The ECC was started by local community folks of color interested in bringing together people in a relaxed social atmosphere to support one another.

Our goal is to create a safe space that fosters friendships and networks for people of color, social justice allies, and equity workers in the local area.

We want to celebrate your successes and introduce new folks to our community. This is a family friendly event with free food and entertainment - we hope to see you there!

Youth will have a chance to connect, grow and have FUN!

Military Kids Club will have an in-person and virtual option.

In-person meetings will be Monday and virtual meetings will be Wednesday one day a month from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.

Open to youth ages 6-11 years old.
