Today, we celebrated a remarkable milestone as six individuals successfully completed their cases, each with a unique story of resilience and determination. Through their hard work and dedication, they made informed decisions at every step, empowered by the guidance and support of their judge, treatment teams, FTC court team, peers, parent resource coordinators, GALs, parent attorneys, caseworkers, CASAs, and one another. Their achievements are a testament to their commitment to creating a brighter future not only for themselves but also for their children. Congratulations to the five women and one man who graduated today – we are deeply proud of each of you. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who attended to show their support and bear witness to their incredible journeys.

WEATHER CLOSURE: Monday, January 26, 2026

Due to ongoing road conditions and the extreme cold warning in effect through Monday at 12 pm (dangerous wind chills expected between -15° to -25°F), all Greene County offices, departments, and 31st Circuit judicial courts that are open to the public will be closed Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. County offices are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 8:00 am, following another weather assessment Monday evening. Continue to monitor this page for changes and updates.

However, County Highway Department crews continue to work around the clock to clear roads, with the full fleet of 40 snow plows operating during daytime hours. They expect to reach 80-90% of county routes by Monday morning, with remaining rural roads addressed throughout the day. Special shoutout for all their hard work!

Please stay safe, limit travel, and check on neighbors during this dangerous cold.
