Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission The SSCRPC is the joint planning body for Sangamon County and the City of Springfield.

We work with municipalities, special districts, public agencies, Public-private partnerships, and not-for-profits to promote growth and focused redevelopment. The Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission (SSCRPC) serves as the joint planning body for the City of Springfield and Sangamon County. Along with this on-going responsibility, the Planning Commission staff works with many o
