Our 3rd Annual Su***de Prevention & Awareness Walk 2026 is approaching soon! We wanted to share a few reminders with participants -

Walk Reminders

-Stay with the group and follow directions from the event organizers

-Use extreme caution around traffic, especially when crossing US HWY 287

-Stay hydrated, bring a water bottle of your own or grab a provided water

-Most importantly, COME AS YOU ARE. This walk is about coming together as a community to support one another, spread hope, and remind those around us that they are not alone!

Pet Reminders

We are happy to have them join us! For the safety and comfort of all participants and pets, please make sure:

-Pets are current on their rabies vaccinations

-A leash or harness is required at all times - keep your pet close and be mindful of other participants, pets, traffic, and your surroundings

-Please clean up after your pet

We are VERY EXCITED to see everyone and spend time with our community coming together!

It’s , and this year’s theme is “Work. Pump. Advance. Empowering the modern parent.” At WIC, we support working parents by providing breast pumps, peer support and lactation experts, nutritious food, and personalized food packages to support your breastfeeding goals.
