LifeStar Georgia Air Ambulance LifeStar1 has covered scene, interhospital, neonatal, and trauma missions since 1985. LifeStar is an air ambulance based in Effingham County, Ga.

The LifeStar Helicopter is a Bell 407 which has served this region
for over 35 years and was originally based at Memorial Hospital in
Savannah, Ga. LifeStar has been providing coverage for scene, interhospital,
neonatal and miscellaneous missions since it's inception on July 01, 1985. LifeStar is an now an Air Methods Company as of August 1st, 2011.
