We have officially moved! Our new address is 300 S 9th Street, Springfield, IL 62702. We are currently closed until after Memorial Day and will reopen at our new location on Tuesday May 27th at 8am. Veteran being laid to rest with no family: Robert Neff Obituary
Springfield - Robert Joseph Neff, 79, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, died April 25, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Robert was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Chicago, the son of Al and Evelyn Neff. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a military police officer during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2025, at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, with Rev. Larry Hanson officiating and the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County conducting military honors. Robert has no known family. Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend the graveside service. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. on the west side of the internment pavilion by the flagpole. Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee is in charge of arrangements for Robert Neff.
