Effective immediately, Wall Street will be reduced to one lane until further notice. During this time, the impacted section will operate as a one-way street from Reed Street to Summer Street.

Due to space constraints, motorists are asked to observe the following guidelines:

Local traffic only: please avoid this route unless Wall Street is your destination.
Expect minor delays: plan extra travel time if you live or work along this stretch.
Use alternate routes: through-traffic should utilize surrounding streets to keep area clear.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Water Main Flushing Notice!!!! MONDAY May 4th- FRIDAY May 15th
Periodically, in Springfield, Vermont, we clean water mains of harmless corrosion and accumulated foreign matter y opening hydrants and allowing the water to escape under high pressure. The flushing action is an important part of our program to maintain high quality water.
Although such flushing may produce temporary discoloration, the safety of the water is not affected in anyway. HOWEVER, we advise you to schedule clothes washing and cleaning projects at other times.
All mains will be flushed between 7:00am & 6:00pm Monday thru Friday (May 4th - May 15th). During the time this work is performed, IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WILL BE AFFECTED.
