For over 60 years, the Springfield Housing Authority has provided safe, affordable, quality housing that is vital to the health of our community. The need for secure housing for low income families, elders and disabled individuals continues to grow and the Springfield Housing Authority continues to meet those needs. However, the Springfield Housing Authority offers residents far more than homes in

which to live, such as opportunities to attain self sufficiency. Resources are available to residents so that they may learn new skills, restart their education, find jobs and even get started on the path to homeownership. Today, many talented, vibrant people are hard at work to address the growing needs of our residents and make the Springfield Housing Authority a high performing agency that does a superior job.
