USA-01 has deployed a 10-person disaster coordination and structural engineering assessment team in support of the U.S. Department of State response to the Colombia earthquake.

This week things at 22 look a little different. With a number of frontline units out and reserve engines limited, our Volunteer reserve engine, E422B, has been placed in service as a frontline unit. It’s is just one other way we support the partnership with and ensure our community is in good hands.

Today members of GSVFD canteen CAN422 and CAN422B are in Ceaderbrook Md to support Arlington County Fire Department at the funeral of Firefighter Larry Wright. On sad occasions as this, our team is honored to provide attendees with a brief respite and location to share memories of FF Wright. Our thoughts and prayers are with FF Wright, his family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.
