Has anyone seen my dog been 2-4 months since he escaped
It's been 2 years today since we adopted Colby from Sangamon County Animal Shelter. He is still very playful/active dog just like when we picked him up. He loves being the patrol dog at the dog park at our apartment complex. Loves the North Carolina weather a lot better then Illinois weather. So glad we were able to adopt him and give him a furever home. He trys to keep our 12 year old dog Lexi busy.
Pupdate : Beau (Adopted Nov. 7)
Nicknames: Blockhead, Big Black, Clutzy, Beausiff
Enjoys: Taking Mommys clothes out of the hamper and cuddling with them, Treats, Playing with his sister Sasha, his ropey
Beau is truly a gentle giant. And thinks hes a 5 lb lap dog. He still hates his leash, but were working on it. And he loves to go on a wandering walk by himself by bolting out the door. He was 65lbs when I got him, Hes pushing 100lbs now. He had bad social anxiety when I got him and now loves about anyone who walks in. If your over 6ft tall and male hes a little scared. Hes incredibly clutzy. Falls down stairs and off the bed. His favorite place to lay is spooning mom. He rarely barks and always looks like he doesnt understand. Lol
Today, is 3 years since I have adopted April (on the left) from SCAC. Wanted to let ya'll know how she is doing. She is such a sweetie and keeps to herself most of the time. Was 6 years old at the time and is now almost 10. Still gaining her confidence around her wild brother Figaro (on the right). They do have their moments as you can see. The moment I met her, I fell in love and we clicked instantly.
Sunday Pupdate!
We have had Scooby for a little over 2 months now. He finally has some meat on his bones, he was so skinny when we got him. He is the best dog we have ever had, we love him sooooo much.
SCAC alumni Lucy (beagle, Chickie, adopted 6/2018) and Riley (Louella adopted 1/2018) never get tired of their playdates.
Happy Gottcha Day Dec 21 Arlo!! This boy is my best friend. Best Dog ever. We enjoy running around at the farm. Going for rides. He gets tired of all the pictures I take of him so anymore when I say smile Arlo this is what I get. I guess he has watched his human siblings a little too closely cause they stick out their tongues too.
Got Cory and Lilith (previously Leo and Mia) 4 years ago. Though Cory passed over the rainbow bridge a few months back, Lilith is doing good and is still as 'huggy' as ever.
Coco turns 4 today...we adopted him last year right before Thanksgiving. He is such a loving boy and finds that batting around a bell after midnight to be quite enjoyable...he will even bring it to bed with him. We enjoy daily conversations as he is very vocal about his needs especially when it comes to food and pets. Thank you for rescuing him so that he could be part of our family!
We adopted Little Scout (formally known as Tinkerbell) from Sangamon County 8 yrs ago. She was so shy and afraid of everything. We opened our home and heart to her-thats all she needed. 🐾 Picture to the right was our car ride home from the shelter 8 yrs ago
The pic on the left taken a month ago look at her now! 😊
The family out for a walk on a beautiful sunny afternoon.
I am interested in adopting a dog but s/he must get along with cats
