20 years ago, in one single day, our country shared loss and grief. Those tragic events led to unwavering bravery and monumental solidarity. We will never forget those that were lost, those still living with that loss, and the heroes that we should all strive to be in that moment.

I'm trying to help a man (Mike Marion) locate two older brothers who were placed for adoption. He found the certificate of registration of birth on the older one in his mom's things after she died.

Ronald Eugene Marion
b 04 Nov 1947
Springfield, IL

Robert Marion
b. 1949
Springfield, IL

The parents were:
Francis Ranson Marion
Mildred Jean James

The father died 24 Jun 1954 in Springfield. His obit lists just the older son. So it may be that the boys weren't placed for adoption until after the dad died. At that time the older boy would have been about 7 and younger about 5, so they may have the same first names, even if they were adopted. His parents were not together when the father died. Mike Marion has no memory of the brothers.
Does anyone know who this man is? He took my kids bike trailer off of my bike. Please share.
