Since joining us as a Care Partner in September, Izabella has been a ray of sunshine, bringing warmth and dedication to every shift—whether it’s Day, Swing, or even NOC when needed. Her commitment to our residents and team never goes unnoticed!

Originally from Alaska, Izabella has called Oregon home for most of her life. When she’s not caring for others, you’ll find her reading or baking—two passions that reflect her kindness and creativity. 💙

Izabella says she loves working at The Rawlin because of the incredible residents and team members she’s surrounded by. And we couldn’t be more grateful for her positive attitude and unwavering support she provides our community!

🌟 Resident of the Month: Mark 🌟

We are excited to honor Mark as our Resident of the Month! Born in Colorado in 1931, Mark has led a life full of adventure, love, and hard work.

💙Mark met his wife, Ella, in high school, and after waiting for his return from the military, they were married and celebrated an incredible 63 years together! During his time in the Air Force, Mark served as a “driver,” chauffeuring higher-ranking officials to where they needed to be. Afterward, he worked as a switchman for the Southern Pacific Railroad, a job he enjoyed, despite being away from home a lot.

These days, you can find Mark sporting his fancy pearl button shirt, cowboy hat, and buckle, enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee and chatting with friends here at The Rawlin. We are so lucky to have him as part of our community!
