We’re changing things up at the fire station this year! The end of August always seems to be a busy time, so the Fire Association has decided to move the date of our annual Chicken BBQ and Cruise-In fundraiser.
We can’t wait to celebrate with our community and we appreciate your continued support.

George was a tremendous supporter of our community and the German Township Fire Association. He generously donated both his time and resources to our annual Chicken BBQ & Car Show, as well as our Christmas Dinner event. His loss will be deeply felt throughout the community, but we will continue to move forward while honoring the legacy he leaves behind.

When you see emergency lights or hear sirens, immediately and safely move your vehicle to the RIGHT edge/curb of the road, stop, and stay there until all emergency vehicles pass.

Be aware that MULTIPLE emergency vehicles may be following other emergency vehicles.

Emergency vehicle operators are trained to pass on the LEFT, as it is generally the fastest lane and allows for better visibility.

Reminder per Ohio Revised Code 1503.18 Ohio's annual SPRING burn ban for 2026 runs from March 1 through May 31, prohibiting most open burning in unincorporated areas between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.. This statewide regulation aims to prevent wildfires during high-risk, dry, and windy conditions.

🚨Help First Responders Find You Faster🚨

Make sure your house numbers are Large, High-Contrast, and Visible from the street- day and night.

✔️ At least 4" tall but 6" is better
✔️ Clear contrast (e.g. black/white)
✔️ Simple font (no cursive or decorative style)
✔️ Reflective so they're visible at night
✔️ Numbers at the street and on house
✔️ Visible from both directions
✔️ Not blocked by plants/grass

A small change can make a big difference.

Address numbers/signs can be purchased from Lowe's, Home Depot, and Amazon (as well as other stores).

Clark County has been Downgraded to a Level 1 Snow Emergency. Roadways are ice covered and slick. Motorists should use caution when traveling.

Road crews still remain out addressing drifting and any side streets that need to be cleaned up.
