The Veterans' Home at Quincy is IDVA's largest and oldest home. A tremendous team of VNACs serves veterans across its over 200-acre campus. Many have been part of the community for generations. VNACs are an integral part of the Quincy family by caring for veterans and providing them a welcoming and nurturing home. The Army has been protecting our nation in peacetime and in conflicts around the globe. Today is its 250th birthday, and the theme is “This we’ll defend,” - first used as a battle cry by the Continental Army. Today, it reminds us that our Army’s purpose is clear: to fight and win the nation’s wars.

IDVA is privileged to care for Army veterans in its five residential Veterans' Homes across the state. We also work alongside U.S> Army veterans who have chosen to share their skills and dedication with their fellow veterans as part of Team IDVA. We are proud of our U.S. Army veterans and grateful for their service.
