Effective today, August 21st 2025 – the Missouri Region D WebEOC Servers are being decommissioned and taken off line.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding – this Regional project which supported agencies across Region D for nearly 15 years has come to a close due to a lack of funding from the Region D RHSOC and exclusion from the SHSGP Program by the Missouri Office of Homeland Security.

The State of Missouri WebEOC program is available for agencies; should they choose to move operations to that platform.

They State WebEOC Program Contact Information is located at: https://sema.dps.mo.gov/programs/webeoc/

Thank you all for your support of the project over the years.

A new Missouri Region D WebEOC Incident has been created.

Incident Name: 2023-07-12 Regional Severe Weather and Heat
Originating Agency: WebEOC Admin
Date/Time: 07/12/2023 18:13:00
Activation Level: Monitoring
Activation Type: Not Activated

Activation Summary: Hot and humid conditions will persist into early this evening as
heat index values range from 100 to 109 degrees.

Scattered thunderstorms will develop late this afternoon and early
this evening from south-central Kansas into northern Missouri.
These storms will then push into extreme southeastern Kansas and
central Missouri from mid to late evening. Hail up to two inches
in diameter and damaging wind gusts will be possible with the
strongest storms, mainly north of the Interstate 44 corridor.
These storms will also produce torrential rainfall which may lead
to a flash flooding risk.

A complex of storms will then develop this evening and move
southeast across portions of the area during the overnight hours.
While there are still questions regarding the track of these
storms, confidence is increasing that swaths of 50 to 60 mph winds
will occur from these storms. Localized swaths of 60 to 75 mph
winds will be possible within any bow echoes contained within the
larger line of storms.

Thunderstorms tonight will also pose the risk for localized flash
flooding given that torrential rainfall rates are expected.
Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are expected over localized
areas.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat index values from around 100 to near 109 degrees will occur
again on Thursday, especially across southeastern Kansas and
southwestern Missouri.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are then possible from late
Thursday afternoon into Saturday morning. Localized heavy
rainfall and flash flooding will be the main risks, but a few
strong to severe storms will be possible at times.

Additional thunderstorms will then be possible by the middle of
next week along with the potential return of excessive heat.

This incident will be 'fused' (connected) to the State of Missouri WebEOC as necessary for enhanced operations.
