Summer seems to be in full swing, though it isn't too hot just yet. The strawberry moon last night seemed almost like Fall. Summer classes officially begin next Monday, and the Baseball Bears are still in the hunt. They are playing in Fort Worth Texas. Great games with Arkansas last week. Many of our members and fellow students were completing their CFA exams, and we're sure they were outstanding as well. Dr. Scott has asked everyone to contact [email protected] with photos (even very old ones) as he wants to update the FMA portfolio. The coming year has officers in place that are experienced and now working all over the world (literally) to increase their experience in Finance and education. The trip to Chicago that will be Spring 2018, can be even better than the trip to New York City. Remember that our FMA team won the Quiz Bowl, visited the exchanges, and met other FMA Students from all over the country while having a great time in the Big Apple during the FMA National Student Leadership Conference last Spring! Check the teams that were in the contest, yet, we were #1! Remember that there are other FMA sites and MSU FMA has other contact points as well (sorry, no official twitter). Let us know how FMA can help you to be the Best Bear in the woods this next year.

It should be interesting to all that three of the five (excluding Dr. Scott) are CFA. Anyone else that have completed or are in the process of completing the CFA should email Dr. Scott to be included in the report to Dr. Ragan and the CFA Societies. MSU is great when considering CFA and CFP alumni. Let us know.

Fall is underway, the Bears have won BIGGGG! FMA had its first meeting last week with 22 attendees. Many couldn't make the first meeting, but will add FMA to their resume.
