Maybe not in 2020, but there WILL be LETR Torch Runs ahead!!!!

Don't forget about the Athletes this year. Events have been cancelled, but they are out there training. And training. And training for events, that like the Torch Run, WILL be held in the future.

I'm at the Illinois State Fair all day selling Harley Davidson raffle tickets for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Since you're coming out as well to see Foreigner tonight, stop by and see me!!! I'm located just down from Vose's, across from the Ribeye place and next to Tom Thumb donuts!

The $10 you spend on a chance helps Illinois Special Olympians. That $10 you'll blow on a state fair beer will not serve you quite as well. And, don't forget you have to work tomorrow anyway....

The cheers, and the flame L.E. representatives from each state ran with all week and carried in to open the games. Proud and humbled that my SPD career led to this moment. I was blessed enough to wear the uniform one more time.

The Brookes company outfitted us all with our running gear and backpacks so we decided to visit their corporate headquarters in Seattle to thank tthem. But then they chased us away, up a hill and to this creature.
Sheesh. You can't take cops anywhere...

The "other" SPD (Seattle) was gracious enough to give us tired runners a lift across the sound in their fleet of police boats. With the water cannons, is there really any more need for the fire department?
