EVV Trainings - System Enhancements : From the Department of Medicaid:

Sandata is offering a fresh round of training sessions over the next few weeks to ensure providers have all the information and knowledge needed to be successful with Ohio Medicaid’s new Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) program.

Two training sessions will be offered Monday - Friday, beginning July 22, to provide information on the changes that went into effect on July 1. Providers can choose either of the following options:
• 10 AM Eastern time
• 2 PM Eastern time

Additionally, Sandata will host VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS EACH DAY at noon through August 2, to dive deeper into the hot topics that are creating a lot of questions.

Sessions are designed to help providers quickly get up to speed with EVV enhancements, stay current on critical updates, and streamline workflows.

To take advantage of training options, providers can register for sessions at Sandata Learn!

HOW TO REGISTER IN SANDATA LEARN
->Once logged in, click on the ā€œEventsā€ tab to access the training options.
Providers who have not taken training yet should start with EVV Enhancement Training. This course will guide agency and independent providers through the enhancements made to the EVV system. The session is intended for agency administrative staff and independent providers using the Sandata system.

NOTE: This training is not intended for agency-employed direct care workers or participant-directed only providers who receive payment through a financial management service.

Agency providers can also participate in EVV Scheduling Training if the agency intends to use that module. Scheduling is an optional feature in the enhanced EVV system and enables agencies to help direct care workers in successfully capturing individual member visits. The course offers an overview of how to create and manage direct care worker schedules and is intended for provider agency administrative staff who will be using this optional feature.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?
EVV providers who have taken training and still have questions are encouraged to call Sandata support at 855-805-3505.
Ohio Department of Medicaid and Sandata are committed to helping providers transition to the new program.

The well-being of caregivers is important and often overlooked while we focus on the care of others above ourselves. Check out these resources for ways to care for yourself, recharge your battery, and continue providing the best care to others.

Please share and encourage employees, family, and friends you know who are caring for others. Even a small amount of time put back into ourselves can make a difference.

Providing care and support for a loved one can be both a rewarding and challenging role. Understanding how to care for oneself while supporting someone else takes intentional reflection, exploration, planning and problem-solving to ensure a good life for everyone.
