We may not have taken many photos, but that’s because we were having way too much fun at National Night Out! 🚑💙

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent to say hello, pick up some swag, and tour our ambulance. We truly appreciate the incredible support from our Springfield community and loved spending the evening with all of you. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year!

You no longer need to use "our" street (North Trivett Avenue/Gloria Simpson Way) to get to Caldwell Place. But you're still welcome to visit and learning about how you can support the Squad, as a volunteer or donor!

Our thoughts go out to the Schwerdt family and our friends at the Springfield Fire Dept.

Local 57 is saddened to hear of the passing of Retired Fire Chief Donald Schwerdt Jr on July 29th.

Chief Schwerdt dedicated many years of service to the Springfield Fire Department and our community. He was appointed to the department on December 1, 1977, and served as our Fire Chief from 2004 to 2006, prior to his retirement.

Please keep Retired Chief Schwerdts' family and friends in your prayers.
