We've had so much fun so far this weekend! Come out for the final day of Springfield Summer Celebration and enjoy a great time with great friends!

🎣Fishing Derby: 7am-10am at Lake Kolelemook
BYO pole and try your chance at winning biggest catch, smallest fish or most fish!

🚲Bike Rodeo: 9:30am-11am on the recreation field
A morning of skill building,bike safety and fun! Free helmets available! BYO bike and check out all the exciting bike-riding stations Linda and her team have put together!

🏊‍♀️Community Swim: 11am-1pm at Lake Kolelemook
Grab a hotdog lunch at the Glizzy Wagon Food Truck before you take a dip in the lake. Sponsored by the Springfield NH Rec Committee.

The Springfield Recreation committee is thrilled to announce that we are kicking off a new fundraising campaign to build a new playground and gathering space in Springfield! The goal is to build community for the next generation of Springfield residents. In a rural community like ours, where gathering spaces are limited, this playground will help bring residents together, support, healthy lifestyles, and ensure that children of all backgrounds have access to play. We hope this new space will serve as a community hub for families, local events, community groups, and everyday connections.

To support this new campaign, the rec Commitee will have a dunk tank at this weekend’s summer celebration with all proceeds going to the playground trust.

In addition, we will have brochures that feature the new renderings, and the various ways that you can help contribute to make this project a reality!
We have already received a $20,000 anonymous donation to kick off this fund and we couldn’t be more excited.

Additional donations can be made directly at the town office (checks can be made payable to the Springfield Playground Expendable Trust).
