A big thank you to Mass Appeal and WWLP-22News for featuring Rachel’s Table during Nexstar Founder’s Day!

This special day was about more than sharing our mission—it was about taking action. As part of the celebration, WWLP employees rolled up their sleeves and made sandwiches that Rachel’s Table delivered to four partner agencies, helping provide meals to neighbors across our community.

We know that fighting hunger takes all of us. We are grateful to WWLP for shining a light on the growing need in Western Massachusetts and for helping make a direct impact through hands-on service.

🥛 Every child deserves access to healthy, nutritious food — including milk.

Through the Bernice and Joseph Kalicka Milk Program, Rachel’s Table recently delivered 294 cases of shelf-stable milk (2,646 pounds!) to 18 partner agencies across Western Massachusetts.

This program was established by Judy Ingis and her brother David in honor of their parents, Bernice and Joseph Kalicka, with a simple but powerful goal: helping ensure that children and families have access to milk when they need it most.

Thank you to the Kalicka family and all who support this important program. Together, we are nourishing our community one delivery at a time.

Behind every meal delivered is a community coming together to care for its neighbors. Thank you to Longmeadow Neighbors - Best Version Media for sharing the story of Rachel's Table and the impact we're making together.

The article, "Helping Neighbors Eat," shines a light on the growing challenge of food insecurity across Western Massachusetts and the many ways Rachel's Table works alongside volunteers, donors, farms, businesses, and community partners to help nourish our neighbors.

We're excited to share our progress at Rachel's Table! 🚚 Through unwavering community support, we've been able to dramatically increase our food deliveries, bringing a variety of fresh produce, quality meats, and dairy to those in our community facing food insecurity.

What an incredible day at Outrun Hunger 2026! 💚🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

From our record number of runners and walkers, to the amazing volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and supporters who showed up to help “Race to Fill the Bowls,” this event was a true celebration of what can happen when a community comes together to fight hunger.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, cheered runners on, brought food donations, and helped make this year’s event such a success. Because of YOU, Rachel’s Table can continue rescuing healthy food, supporting local gardens, nourishing neighbors, and building a stronger food system across Western Massachusetts.
