Hard to believe that one year has passed since our volunteer EMS doors was closed. Yes this is heart breaking, with 50 years of service to our community and caring people that we transported, treated, loved, and took care of via taking them to the hospital.
Wishing everyone to have a very SAFE AND HAPPY 2025 NEW YEAR.

During this Saturday’s SCHOOL CLOSURE EVENT celebration, we will have a place to help one of our outstanding teachers, Robin Puffinburger.
Robin was a teacher here at Springfield Green Spring Elementary for many years. Since November 2023, she has been in and out of John Hopkins Hospital suffering from a medical condition that has her in an unresponsive state.
Robins husband, Terry, has not left her side. Terry is a full time Firefighter in Cumberland and an EMS provider in Hampshire and Mineral counties. Due to being with Robin, Terry has not been able to work.
Would you please consider donating to the family to help with travel and medical expenses? Our staff will ensure that all proceeds go directly to Robin and Terry. We also ask for prayers during this very difficult time.

Helena Josephine (Snyder) Shanholtz, 88, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, at Hampshire Center in Romney.
