5 Springfield High School seniors were recently selected to attend 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲'𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗲: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴! ⚙️🔧

These students showed strength in manufacturing-related careers on their YouScience assessment and spent the day exploring possible job opportunities.

This is just one example of how the District connects students to careers!

'Fulton Fathers,' a new initiative of Fulton Elementary, kicked off this weekend with some coffee and conversation at Brown's Cafe. The group will engage fathers in the academic and behavioral success of Fulton scholars by building a strong community of support among fathers, students and the school.

Led by Fulton Assistant Principal Hester, the fathers are already planning their first event!

𝟰𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 🤯

Our Wildcats put their compassion for others on full display this week when they packed meals for children in the South African country of Lesotho.

This is the 8th year that SHS has participated in a meal pack coordinated by the Lesotho Nutrition Initiative (LNI), but this year they packed 43,000 meals -- the largest volunteer meal pack event to date outside of Wittenberg University, where the LNI program began.

Amazing work, Wildcats! 🫶🏼

Your 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 in the Empire Mock Trial 'Southern Showdown' Competition hosted in Atlanta this weekend! Team member Aria Mills also won an additional award for Top Witness 🏆 Hopefully you kept up to date with the team's Instagram Takeover where we got a behind-the-scenes look at their adventure!
