Day 3! What a day! We finished off our conference with our ABM and brunch for members. Serena Locke introduced the Homeowner class to our members which is a spin on the class that Kimberly London from City of Medford teaches. OPTA will now be able to spread information to realtors and soon to be homeowners on why permitting is important. Serena’s ICC award did not arrive in time but Jim Sayers and Jack Applegate still were able to make her feel so special. She will be presented with her “Excellence in Public Safety Award” next year by ICC.

Day 2 OPTA Fall Education:
Classes went so well! Jessica Sorenson from ICC taught her plan review class for the first time! We loved being her guinea pigs! We hope to offer this class again!
The amazing duo of Serena Locke and Katherine Denight who wrote AND taught “PermitPalooza, how do I permit that?” class went so well that we hope to offer this again too! The day ended with a Board dinner at The Cozy Taberna celebrating all we have accomplished this year! We have grown so much individually and as a group!

Great conversations, food and friends! We love rolling out the red carpet for our members.
