🚨🐾 EFFINGHAM COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER IS AT FULL CAPACITY — CHLOE NEEDS YOU! 🐾🚨

Sweet Chloe, a young female dog, is waiting for someone to give her the loving home she deserves. And she’s not alone. Our shelter is currently at full capacity, with dogs and cats urgently needing families to open their hearts — and their homes.

❤️ The good news? Adoption fees have been WAIVED!

If you’ve been thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your family, please don’t wait. Come meet Chloe or one of the other animals at the shelter. Adopting just one animal helps create much-needed space for another animal in need.

🐶 Chloe is waiting. So are her shelter friends. They need homes now.

Looks like these two mischievous kittens have found their very own place! 💛

A big THANK YOU to Michael for adopting Bart and Homer. We’re pretty sure their new life together will include plenty of naps, zoomies, mischief and maybe the occasional “D’oh!” 😂

From causing trouble at the shelter to living the good life at home, Bart and Homer have officially hit the jackpot — and we couldn’t be happier for them!

His name is Gunner.
About no more than 6 months old
Great car rider
Very friendly disposition, just acts like a puppy.
High energy
Not fixed
Does still need a bit of kennel training.

Message from owner:
"We are having to surrender him because I recently found out that my cancer has come back, but worse this time.
I cannot take care of him, financially nor physically.
I believe he would have a much better life with another family that can give him the attention he deserves, especially being a puppy.
Please help me find this furbaby a good home."

Thank you to Brittany for adopting Oscar Mayer from the Effingham County Animal Shelter and giving this sweet cat a loving home. We’re thrilled that Oscar has traded the shelter for a place where he can live his best nine lives! 🐾
