Currently, it looks like a strong low pressure system will pass near northern Indiana Wednesday night. This is expected to bring strong winds and severe weather to the region. More details will become available as we get closer to the event.

COMMONWEALTH SEVERE WEATHER ANALYSIS

A line of showers and thunderstorms will enter northwest Kentucky late tonight into tomorrow. T

The associated cold front will weaken as it comes in. The main hazard will be wind gusts up to 60 mph.

The front will track across Kentucky through Friday with a severe weather risk from 2-8 pm ET for eastern Kentucky.

The main threat will be wind gusts up to 60 mph with a chance for hail and localized flooding.

Tonight, ahead of an approaching cold front, a weakening line of showers and thunderstorms is expected to push southeast through southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Widespread severe weather isn't expected, but a few storms could produce gusty winds.
