Another round of rainfall is expected today for some. Given recent heavy rainfall, and the chance for more showers and storms today, some localized flooding issues may arise, especially along and north of I-64.

A cold front will move into the region from the west later today. Ahead of the cold front, a line of showers and thunderstorms will move across the region. Strong to severe storms will be possible in areas west of I-65. The main threats will be heavy rainfall, damaging winds, and marginally severe hail.

Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight as a cold front approaches. Beneficial and widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected for most, however a few spots may seen 2-3+". A few minor flood concerns could arise with the higher amounts.
