The Landlord Tenant Education Committee, joint between the OAEH and the Housing Collaborative, is hosting an All About Tenants Event on Saturday, June 8th. It will be held at the O’Reilly Center for Hope (1518 E Dale St) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. At the event, tenants will learn about their rights, basic budgeting, fair housing, renting 101, and advocacy. Over lunch, tenants will have an opportunity to engage with service providers in the housing, legal, neighborhood, and tenant sectors.

The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

Vaccines are one of the safest and most effective ways to combat illness. Three vaccines for COVID-19 have been granted Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA.

Pfizer/BioNTech
Moderna
Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)

Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is recommended for teens and adults except individuals who are allergic to the vaccine or ingredients in the vaccine. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is authorized for those 12 and over; the Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccines are authorized for 18 and older. Individuals who are immune-compromised, pregnant, or breastfeeding, should check with their doctor before getting any vaccine.
