🌻💙 Honoring a Legacy, Welcoming a New Chapter 💙🌻
Some people leave a place better than they found it simply by leading with heart. Yesterday, June 30, we said goodbye to our beloved principal, Mrs. Carder, as she began a well-earned retirement.
For years, Mrs. Carder has been the steady presence behind countless smiles, celebrations, challenges, and successes at Wanda Gray Elementary. She created more than a school—she cultivated a community where students felt loved, staff felt supported, and families felt welcomed. She encouraged us to dream bigger, laugh often, and always keep children at the heart of every decision.
Like a field of wildflowers, the seeds she planted will continue to bloom for years to come. Her legacy isn't found only in the halls of our school, but in the people she inspired and the lives she forever changed. We are endlessly grateful for her leadership, her kindness, and the sunshine she brought to each day.
Today, July 1, we are excited to welcome Mrs. Sandbothe as the new principal of Wanda Gray Elementary.
As one chapter closes, another begins. We look forward to the journey ahead as Mrs. Sandbothe joins the Gray family and builds upon the strong foundation of excellence, compassion, and community that makes Wanda Gray so special. We are excited to support her as we continue growing, learning, and serving our students together.
Here's to celebrating a remarkable legacy, new beginnings, and continuing to grow together as one Gray family.
Welcome, Mrs. Sandbothe! We are so glad you're here.🐾💙
