Today was a day full of cheers, hugs, happy tears, and so much gratitude as we celebrated our 4th Grade Wildcats during their clap-out! 🐾🎉 Watching these students walk the halls one last time as elementary students was such a special reminder of how much they’ve grown and how bright their futures are. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

This clap-out was made even more meaningful as we honored three incredible people who have left lasting fingerprints on our school family.

Congratulations to Mrs. Griesemer and Mr. Davidson on their retirement! Thank you for the countless lives you’ve impacted, the wisdom you’ve shared, and the love you’ve poured into generations of students. Your legacy will continue long after these hallways quiet down for summer.

And to the heart and sunshine of our school, Mrs. Carder — thank you for leading with wisdom, grace, joy, and a servant’s heart. Your love for students, staff, and families has shaped Wanda Gray in the most beautiful way. The warmth, encouragement, and joy you brought to our school will be felt for years to come. ☀️💙

What a beautiful way to close out this chapter together. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. 🐾

We had a BLAST celebrating great attendance 🎉🥳🎊The grant provided by Foundation for Springfield Public Schools made this day possible! Also, shout out to Mrs. Bellmon for writing the grant and specialty team for running another fun day!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20th, please send your student with a change of clothes, towels, etc. ☀️💦

The rain tried to take out our Field Day fun, but we know how to pivot! Coach Pohlman was ready to celebrate our kids rain or shine. Our Field Day was a success.
We work hard so we can PLAY even harder, and we are ready to make the most of the day no matter what. So, we are going to continue with a little water fun tomorrow! Thank you for helping your student come prepared for all the fun!
