Absentee voting begins on ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ for those eligible voters who are unable to go to their regular polling place on Tuesday, November 3 for the upcoming General Election. In Greene County, the November ballot includes a wide variety of federal, state and local candidates, five statewide issues and four questions for the City of Springfield.

๐๐ง-๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ will be available at the Greene County Elections Center, 1126 North Boonville Avenue in Springfield, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm up to and including the day prior to the election. In addition, absentee voting will be available Saturday, October 31 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
๐๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐, ๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ:
โข Absence on Election Day from the jurisdiction of the election authority in which such voter is registered to vote;
โข Incapacity or confinement due to illness or physical disability on Election Day, including a person who is primarily responsible for the physical care of a person who is incapacitated or confined due to illness or disability and resides at the same address;
โข Religious belief or practice;
โข Employment as an election authority or by an election authority at a location other than such voterโs polling place, a first responder, a health care worker, or a member of law enforcement;
โข Incarceration, provided all qualifications for voting are retained;
โข Certified participation in the address confidentiality program established under RSMo 589.660 to 589.681 because of safety concerns.
๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ ๐ข๐ง-๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐, ๐๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐, ๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ฉ๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
โข A nonexpired Missouri driver or non-driver license;
โข A nonexpired military ID, including a veteranโs ID card;
โข A nonexpired United States passport;
โข A photo ID issued by the United States or the State of Missouri which is without an expiration date;
โข A photo ID issued by the United States or the State of Missouri which has an expiration date which is either not expired or expired on or after November 6, 2024.
๐๐จ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ข๐ฅ, voters may either submit a handwritten request or complete the fillable form available at https://vote.greenecountymo.gov. These requests must be signed by the voters and received in the Office of the County Clerk no later than ๐:๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ฆ on the second Wednesday prior to the election, ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐. Mailed ballots must be voted, notarized, returned by mail, and received in the Office of the County Clerk before ๐:๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฒ.
