🎩 SUIT UP SPRINGFIELD: A COMMUNITY THAT SHOWS UP 🎩

What an incredible night at East Village Tavern!!

A huge thank you to Sean Stellato for his support, generosity, and gracious time with our community. Sean reminded us that true success isn’t just about what you achieve; it’s about how many people you help along the way.

Special thanks to East Village Tavern for hosting us, our amazing Board of Directors (especially Ryan, Erin, and Nick) and volunteers for making it all happen, and our growing Suit Up community for believing in the power of confidence, opportunity, and second chances.

Shout-out to our board member Myke and his Stand Out Truck for always helping us stand out, and to our founder Justin Roberts for his unwavering commitment to the mission. Thank you as well to Senator Gomez for your continued support of the work we’re doing.

The best part of the evening wasn’t the suits…it was seeing a room full of people committed to lifting others up (Although the fedora may have stolen a little of the spotlight!)

Together, we’re proving that when a community comes together with purpose, amazing things happen. Suit Up Springfield isn’t just about dressing for success. It’s about creating it.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department and the AISS Program, helping individuals build confidence, make strong first impressions, and step into new chapters with style.

Please join us in giving a huge Suit Up Springfield welcome to our newest board member, Jose Reyes!

Jose is a Springfield born entrepreneur, fitness expert, and co-owner of Self Revolution Fitness Studio, but around here, we’re pretty sure his real superpower is helping people believe in themselves!

A first-generation college graduate from Westfield State University with a degree in Psychology, Jose brings a unique mix of business leadership, mental health experience, and wellness expertise to the board. He’s spent years supporting others through personal growth, professional challenges, and life transitions, all while reminding people they’re capable of more than they think.

And yes, if our board meetings suddenly include squats, motivational speeches, or “one more rep,” we’ll know exactly who to blame. 😅

Jose’s passion for creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered aligns perfectly with the mission of Suit Up Springfield. We’re excited for the energy, insight, and heart he brings to the team.

Prom season is here! If you need a suit or can donate a suit for this special occasion in their lives, please come down to the store and we’ll be there to assist in either capacity. 😊

Give a Suit. Change a Prom Night.

Prom is a night students remember for the rest of their lives, but not every student has access to the formal wear they need. This prom season, you can help make sure everyone gets their moment. 💙

We’re collecting suit donations to support local students who otherwise may not be able to attend prom in style. Schools have already started reaching out, and the need is real!

Right now we especially need smaller sizes:
• Men’s 36 & 38
• Boys 16, 18 & 20

If you have a suit in your closet that you no longer wear, consider donating it and helping a student walk into prom with confidence.

Drop-Off Location:
139 State St, Springfield
Donation Hours:
Fridays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
(or by appointment)

Every suit donated helps a student feel confident, celebrated, and ready for one of the most memorable nights of high school. Clean out your closet. Change a prom night. 😊
