Training never stops.

We just received some of our newest training tools to continue improving our Tactical Patrol Officer Program. These additions will help us create more realistic, challenging, and effective training scenarios that better prepare officers for the situations they may face on the street.

Our commitment is simple: provide the best training possible so officers leave our program better prepared, more confident, and more capable of protecting the communities they serve.

Congratulations to the Newest Patrol Rifle Instructors!

Today with the help of SPD we graduated our newest class of Patrol Rifle Instructors after an intense 40-hour course that demanded discipline, determination, and grit.

These officers trained through extreme heat all week, proving that this certification is earned—not given.

Before they could even begin the course, every student had to pass a challenging pre-test on Day One. Throughout the week, they were pushed physically and mentally, culminating in a final timed shooting qualification, a comprehensive written examination, and instructor-evaluated teach-backs that demonstrated their ability to safely and effectively train others.

Every graduate met the standard. Every graduate earned the title.

Congratulations to each of these officers for their commitment to excellence and to making their agencies—and the communities they serve—safer through quality training.

Patrol Rifle Instructor Course – Pre-Test Demo

Here is a video demonstration of the pre-test for next week’s Patrol Rifle Instructor Course.

All officers will be expected to successfully pass this test first thing Monday morning in order to remain in the class. The standards and instructions have already been provided, so there should be no surprises.

Now is the time to practice. Show up prepared, confident, and ready to perform. We expect everyone to arrive having put in the work before day one.

🔥 Congratulations to the Newest Fi****ms Instructors! 🔥

Today, LETAC 10 and SPD proudly wrapped up another 40-hour Fi****ms Instructor Course, and what a week it has been!

These students battled the summer heat every single day while pushing themselves mentally and physically. On Day 1, they had to pass a demanding pre-test just to earn the opportunity to stay in the course. There were no shortcuts.

Today was the final challenge. Each student completed a comprehensive written exam followed by a timed, physically demanding qualification course that tested every aspect of their fi****ms proficiency. They engaged targets from their back, around barricades, and demonstrated both strong-hand-only and support-hand-only shooting—all while performing under pressure.

This certification wasn’t given…it was earned.

Congratulations to every graduate on earning the title of Fi****ms Instructor. Stay safe, keep training, and continue setting the standard for excellence.

We just wrapped up CSI 2 — 40 hours of advanced Crime Scene Investigation training!

A full week of hands-on training focused on advanced crime scene processing, documentation, evidence collection, scene reconstruction, and investigative techniques that officers and investigators can take straight back to the field.

🚔 Basic Cell Extraction Techniques Training – MCLETC Decatur

Last week we hosted a Basic Cell Extraction Techniques class at MCLETC in Decatur. Officers from across the region came together to train, learn, and sharpen their skills in safely and effectively managing difficult situations inside correctional facilities.

These officers put in a lot of hard work during this hands-on training and represented the following agencies:
