Excited to learn and absorb all of the knowledge && be inspired by the amazing line-up of speakers they’re having this year. 🫡

I will be available here and there for e-mail, but will return to the office on 6/8. If there is something urgent, please contact the VAC and a VSO will assist you.

Honored to spend part of Memorial Day weekend at Carpe Diem CrossFit supporting an incredible cause during today’s “Murph” workout. 🇺🇸

As a Veteran Service Officer with the Veterans Assistance Commission of Sangamon County, it means so much to see our community come together to honor the fallen while also supporting veterans through Vet Court services.

Thank you to Carpe Diem CrossFit owner Matt Saxsma and his fiancée Jamie for the hospitality, and for creating a space that supports and uplifts veterans and first responders. Your dedication to this community does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to Mo Faller for the invitation and collecting donations. You are making a difference in the veteran community. Thank you for your endless support.

“Murph” is always more than a workout — it’s a reminder of sacrifice, resilience, and the importance of never forgetting those who gave everything for our freedom.

If you are a Veteran and do not belong to an organization, I urge you look into doing so.
