IDCCA wishes a Happy Mother’s Day to all of Illinois’s mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures.

We believe supporting families means supporting women and children at every stage; from protecting reproductive freedom, to improving maternal health outcomes (especially for Black women), expanding access to affordable childcare, creating economic opportunity, and strengthening our public schools.

Today, we celebrate the people who nurture our communities and reaffirm our commitment to policies that help every family thrive. 💐
