Adoption for Families

The Board Of Adoptions for Families is pleased to announce that Mary C. Turner, MSW, LCSW, CCDP-D has assumed the position as the owner and Executive Director of Adoption for Families.

Mary and her dedicated staff have worked with 3 pregnant moms since June 1, 2018 guiding two moms through the adoption process and counseling one u***d mom to keep her child.

Through our comprehensive services the young, single mom who elected to keep her child was connected with a professional doula to assist during the delivery and post delivery process. Mary and her staff assisted with obtaining donations for mom and the baby, a baby shower for mom and finding stable housing and social services.

The two brave bio mothers along with the bio fathers selected the adoptive parents for their child and were guided through the legal and emotional aspects of the gift of adoption. Mary, her dedicated staff and the social workers at the hospital stayed with the bio parents through the birth of the children to ensure the bio parents physical and emotional well-being were met. Post placement counseling has been offered along with an avenue for the birth and adoptive parents to stay connected as the child grows with their adoptive family.

The staff at Adoption for Families continues to provide counseling for couples or individuals interested in adoption or birth parents considering adoption. They look forward to working with you, your friends and the SW communities.

We have the wonderful Africa Game "Afriqu'enjeux" at our agency available to anybody interested (we have about 50+ games). They sell for $10 a game. We continue our effort of increasing awareness and collecting funds for our agency. Thank you!

PAULETTE MPOUMA
The Africa Memory Game was created by Paulette Mpouma, a refugee from Cameroon. Paulette initially designed the game to educate her own children about the remarkable facts of the African continent, but soon realized her game was applicable to all children and their families.
