Each year, we participate in Lobby Days at the Illinois State Capitol, meeting with lobbyists and elected officials to advocate for improvements in EMS.

This year was especially meaningful, as it included the STAR of Lincoln award ceremony. This was an opportunity for the ambulance services participating to select an employee who has made a meaningful impact within their respective service. This year's recipient from America Ambulance is Rob Cummings. Rob has been a team member at America Ambulance since early 2025 and he was selected because of his passion for EMS, his reliability, and his commitment to excellence that has made him a trusted provider and a highly respected member of the team.
