We know you've heard the news - winter is here and it's going to be frigid this weekend, with wind chills as low as -20 degrees F.

Please protect yourself if you are out, frostbite can occur in as little as 30 minutes in these temperatures. Stay inside if possible to prevent cold-related illnesses. If you have to be out, dress in layers, and cover exposed skin.

Daytime and nighttime warming centers are available for those in need.

What a night ! The Springport Township Fire Department did a little holiday giving last night before their scheduled CPR training . Helping other’s is what makes a firefighters heart happy . Well done STFD!

Springport /Clarence Fire Department is serving pulled pork sandwiches today at Clarence township hall 10-1 unless sold out sooner . Duck lake garage sales are going on come get some great deals and great food .
