Opening day of the ART WALK at Springvale Library is TODAY!! Come see us from 4-7:30 PM. Check out the amazing artists, dance to the stylings of Peter Wentworth Jr., eat some delicious hot dogs from Whatta Weiner, cool off with Kona Ice of York County, tie dye a Sanford Arts Commission shirt with us, and capture some memories with Dapper Snaps. We have something for everyone and we can’t wait for our first month at our NEW location!

Don’t forget to grab any of your extra art supplies for the Sanford Middle School Art Drive!

🖼️ Join us for art, donation based tie dye, community art projects, art supply drive for Sanford Middle School, food vendors, live music and DJ, community and more.

🧑‍🎨 If you’re an artist who would like to set up with us, shoot us a message and we will fill you in on everything you need to know. Or just show up and we will find a place for you

This Friday a local middle school student will be joining us for the Art Walk to collect donations of art supplies for her art teacher, check out her handmade sign! She came up with this donation drive herself and we would love to help her and her school collect some supplies… it’s the end of the year so supplies are dwindling and we know how much our teachers pour into their classes, sometimes reaching into their own pockets for supplies. Join us in helping close out Teacher Appreciation Week by bring any extra supplies you may have laying around because if you’re like me, you collect supplies for projects you never finish.

Any supplies are useful but some helpful ideas are listed below:

Paper, any kind or color.
Pencils
Popsicle sticks
Pipe cleaners
Glue, glue sticks, hot glue sticks
Markers
Colored pencils
Magazines for collages
