Looking for any level of photography work to kickoff our new Art Tower!

We want to do a photography art hanging tomorrow at the Art Walk.
But we need your help to fill it up!
- Bring a print (or a few) you took and are proud of to the Springvale Library tomorrow at 4pm.
-And we will HANG IT along side your friends and neighbors as a community photography project!

This Friday we will have dancers from The Dance Conservatory Of Southern Maine joining us at the Art Walk to sell their homemade slide and fundraise for the next dance season. Make sure to check them out and help support the next generation of artistic expression!

We are so excited to have Khmer Maine Dance Co join us for a performance at the Art Walk this Friday!

Khmer Maine Dance Co. is a youth performance ensemble dedicated to preserving and sharing the art of classical Cambodian dance in Maine. Under the guidance of Neakru (“master teacher”) Sokhoeun Sok, a Cambodian refugee who has devoted herself to passing this tradition to a new generation, young dancers ages 12-18 train in the graceful, centuries-old movements of Khmer classical and folk dance.

Based in Portland and housed within Khmer Maine, the only Cambodian community organization in the state, the Dance Co. brings audiences into a living tradition that was nearly lost to genocide. Every performance carries forward the resilience, beauty, and cultural pride of the Cambodian diaspora in New England.

The ensemble has performed at cultural festivals, civic celebrations, museums, and community gatherings across southern Maine. Khmer Maine Dance Co. is available for public and private events, educational workshops, and cultural programming.

This month’s food vendor line up for the Art Walk includes Belles Coffee, One Love Cuisine, and the return of the Shain’s of Maine ice cream cart. Come hang out, bring your creations, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy some local art this Friday at Springvale Library.
